Review of Bride of Frankenstein (1935) by Josh P — 06 Jun 2007
This is easily the best horror film ever made. Legendary filmmaker James Whales made this movie his masterpiece, blending horror, science fiction, romance, and black comedy. Boris Karloff gives one of the greatest performances in film history as the symphathetic monster.
Like a good wine this movie gets better as it ages as now the audiences of today will find it easier to pick up on the black comedy than audiences of the thirties. Overall this film is a classic I highly recommend it to anyone.
