Whale was years ahead of his time with this one and got more gay subtext past the censors than Top Gun! Great charater acting from all involved, lots of humour, the Dr Promethius character is brilliant.
One of my top movies of all time. And what was the monster's first word - 'Bread'. Must have been a Jean Boht fan.
