Review of Bride of Frankenstein (1935) by Marian G — 14 Jul 2008
Another intelligent and deep horror film from James Whale but not as good as his prequal. The main difference is that we are now focused on slightly inferior characters. Dr Pretorius is just not as interesting as Dr Frankenstein and there are some irritating supporting turns (Una O'Connor).
That being said the scene between the monster and the blind man is one of the best in film history.
