Review of Bride of Frankenstein (1935) by Amjad A — 26 Apr 2013
A spectacular, unique and morbid classic which is without a doubt the greatest Frankenstien film of them all. Directed by the late great James Whale, Bride of Frankenstien is actually a metaphor for various issues.
You can hint the metaphors for homosexuality, sacrilege, necrophilia and acts of god. I say, instead of reconstructing, and trying to analyse the ever growing undertones of this classic, why not just enjoy it.
It's such a beautiful film and a must have.
