Review of Bride of Chucky (1998) by Layla S — 12 Oct 2010
If you get past the fact that this movie is way more parody than a sequel, You'll somewhat enjoy it. Chucky's great as always but sometimes his bride feels annoying and not needed in any way possible.
The acting is sub par at best but just like its predecessors, as soon as Chucky comes back alive, he steals the fame. His one-liners are hilarious and cheesy, and Watching him change from the 80s to the 90s is funny.
Overall, the movie isn't half bad. Although I will say something: The ending is terrible. If you were looking forward to a huge obliteration of Chucky like in 3 with the big fan, you'll be sadly disappointed.
If your a fan of the series, give it a watch. It's not total garbage.
