Review of Bride of Chucky (1998) by Guido S — 31 Oct 2013

By this point, the plot of Chucky trying to enter the body of a kid was getting tired, so instead, they give him a former girlfriend who happens to resurrect the doll, and Chucky goes on to kill her and now we have to murderous dolls on the loose. New doll Tiffany is played by Jennifer Tilly and they pay her neighbor to drive them to a cemetery where the original Chucky was buried to get his amulet. He brings his girlfriend Katherine Heigl along and death follows them where they go. They have no idea it is the dolls.

A refreshing take on the series. Has lots of laughs and starts to really enjoy itself. It does wander away from the horror element, but I still enjoyed this one quite a bit.
