Review of Brick Mansions (2014) by Dave B — 02 May 2014
An acceptable retelling of Besson's earlier Banlieue 13. As Walker's final completed project it is thankfully one of his better efforts. Belle is entertaining and mesmerising to watch, even handling dialogue in a forgein tounge well enough.
Overall a decent switch off/lie back and enjoy flic, however given the chance make sure to watch the original as well.
