Review of Brick Mansions (2014) by Mackenzie C — 23 Apr 2014

Very sad end to Paul Walkers career. This movie had lots of action but little substance. Not sure if this was finished before his death or pieced together after the fact. The acting was horrible, luckily it came off humorously so it was tolerable.

The end completely trashed the whole movie placing the murdering drug lord as a hero and a victim of his environment after him and his thugs go shooting up the whole area that they end up saving. I guess you can be a dirt bag murdering scum of the earth as long as it's your hood but don't let anyone else do it or they are the bad ones and your a saint.

Let's vote one scumbag to replace the old one, right! Oh and let's not worry about all the fighting, chasing, shooting and the dead bodies, we all love each other now BFF. I cry BS! I feel like the victim here especially if this is where society is going, poor poor bad guys their just misunderstood.
