Review of Brick (2006) by Miteal C — 16 Apr 2010
Brick is a modern day noirish flick set against the backdrop of drug running among high school students. More importantly, it is an almost perfect blend between a detective story and investigative journalism, neatly pulled off.
Brick, with its stunningly dark tone and an immersive narration, is a little gem which provides that one tiny thing the biggies fail to give: An absorbing whodonnit mystery. Definitely worth renting!
