Review of Brick (2006) by Ben H — 10 Aug 2010
An intellectual film that leaves audiences perplexed as to what is going on, and what we should be paying attention to. I recognised the interesting cinematography, but was ultimately left isolated and a little confused about the film as a whole. This does in a way relate to Brendan who is himself a loner, but apart from that I didnt really enjoy the film, I merely appreciated it as a piece of cinematic art. The film never really moved and instead stayed at a plateau with a few peaks, but overall not enough to make the film excell.
