Review of Breathless (2009) by Federica B — 27 Feb 2010
Revolutionary in its time period. And it still contains aspects of filmaking that should be used more often today --the jumpcuts, the white walls -- the atmosphere they create is just so cool. And they really go well with the jazz soundtrack too.
The dialogue also references issues that should be brought up more often in mainstream movies, especially American movies. This movie teaches the viewer so much about art and his or her perception of reality.
It also makes the viewer think a lot about love, romance, and relationships.
