I get that this film is revolutionary because of the jump cuts, the pacing, the rebellious attitude and themes. but what you have here are two incredibly uninteresting characters with poorly defined personalities engaging in obscure, pointless dialogue, attached to a threadbare, cliche plot.

there's nothing viscerally exciting, deep, or meaningful about the content. I dont dispute that stylistically it's a profound exercise which thankfully ushered in a modern age of cinema...but I could find nothing in it to relate to other than its position in history- as the first-- to say "fuck you" to cinema and authority so brazenly.
