Review of Breathless (1983) by Eva V — 28 Aug 2008
Not only my favorite Godard film, it's also one of my favorite film's in general. Jean Paul Belmondo's wanna be Humphrey Bogart is unforgettable. A persona of a rough and tuble guy is just a hard shell of his childish personality.
The chemistry with him and Jean Seberg is something to hope for when you first go to Paris. For a first film, Godard was on his way towards the revered career that he has led.
