Review of Breathless (1983) by Jack G — 13 Jan 2009
I used to actually rate it lower than I do now. It's still a landmark of the French New Wave, though there's other Godard I admire and am more inspired by than this. And yet, it's a little like the Dark Knight Returns of European movies - it IS as influential as they say, and GREAT as they say.
.. just not my all-time favorite is all.
