Exttremly influential and a favorate of protentous film snobs, all modern cinema started here. The new wave wassn't/isn't to everybodys taste but, honestly, who can resist Jean-Paul Belmondo's horney wannabe gangster and such brilliant dialoge such as 'My ambition is to find the secret of eternal youth, and then die!'.
