Review of Breathless (1983) by Mandy W — 17 Feb 2010
I really liked this! Jean-Paul Belmondo is great, I love his facial expressions, and his seemingly (at least to me) lackadaisical, or maybe another word I can't think of (we can say a je ne sais quoi), outlook on life in here.
The jump cuts gave it this weird sense of erraticism, but I thought it added something to the film.
