Review of Breathless (1960) by Jon B — 01 Jan 2009
Classic, forever enduring in my memory despite having seen it at least 20+ times. Amazing to see on the big screen. It's romantic despite being an anti-romance film in a lot of ways, it's a homage to the best in American noir, and it's certainly Godard's most influential film on the cinematic landscape.
Need I say more? With 2009 marking the 50th anniversary, I hope it has the same effect on audiences in 50 more years.
