This is a film for people who can't tell the difference between something that sounds intelligent and something that is. Is one supposed to marvel at the piss poor cinematography? At the untalented acting? At the dialogue that reeks of charlatanism? Is there any redeeming quality to Ã?Â? bout de souffle? The film is nothing more than a statement.
It is uninteresting as anything beyond a superficial rejection of conventional film making. It is shiny on the outside, hollow on the inside. Cinematic snake oil.
