Review of Breathe In (2013) by Jon C — 13 Apr 2014
I'd dare say this movie is just as good as Drake Doremus' previous entry, 'Like Crazy'.
The music is so beautiful with the piano solos combined with the cello pieces.
The many emotions of the characters swirl around magnificently as well.
Both Guy Pearce and Felicity Jones are fantastic together.
With a plotline such as this you'd think they'd go immediately into it because you've seen it played out in one form or another but the script takes its time.
I was even astounded that they took the time to contemplate what makes us truly free and happy.
No one wants to be stuck doing something they didn't choose for themselves and not to let fear be the profession for us all.
The simple thing to do is to breathe in and let it out smoothly.
What works here is that you keep wondering is this gonna happen and become what we expect but no it all works on a subtle level.
