Review of Breaking the Waves (2014) by Elizaveta B — 17 May 2008
This is a touching movie that can be very hard to watch. It may be one of the weirdest love stories ever, but one that perhaps best details how love can make us a bit insane. A very disturbing but redemptive film.
Amazing acting performances, especially by British actress, Emily Watson, a naive newlywed who ironically forsakes her moral virtue in an effort to save her husband's life.
