Review of Breaking the Waves (2014) by Countess N — 01 May 2009

Great acting and great storyline but this movie was so depressing that I did not enjoy it at all,i never want to watch it again.

This movie left me feeling angry. Besides from Jan,his friends and the doctor I can honestly say I hated every other man in this movie,really really hated them even the horrible little male children who threw the stones,little bastards. The women were not much better,infact the only character I really liked was Dodo,even Bess did my head in but the way she was treated by the islanders including her own family and men on the boat was vile and sickening.

This could possibly be the most depressing movie I have ever seen.
