For a look at complete selflessness and courage, the heroine of this film is a perfect example. She actually believes that the action she is taking to save her husband will put her into hell for eternity.

His well-being is more important to her than her own immortal soul. This kind of heroic sacrifice is seldom seen in film, let alone in real life. Just a beautiful film about absolute and pure love.
