First time I'd seen this film for a very very long time, it's showing its age now, but the song's are still great, and it does show the bleak days of the late 70s, early 80s (I loved 'em) and the manipulative record industry.
Also play spot the young star's in minor roles, the late Gary Olsen, Patrick Murray, to name just two.
