Review of Breaking Away (1979) by Nate C — 05 Jun 2007
A coming of age movie to which almost any adult man can relate, whether he is into cycling or not. The cycling is an accesory to the main theme of "breaking away." The hard thing about becoming an adult man is that one has to choose his own path and it means giving up some of the things of youth.
This movie, better than anyone other I have seen, illustrates that truth in life.
