Review of Breaking Away (1979) by Sherry L — 26 Feb 2012

It's part drama and part comedy. I didn't find myself laughing as much as I was hoping to, but as the story progressed, I found myself captivated. The makers of this movie, along with the actors, managed to take bicycle races and make them interesting and dramatic.

What was also really cool was how the characters went from considering "cutters" a swear word, to fully embracing the title. It's fun and nice, but it's not too much of anything. It's not that funny and it's not that exciting, but it's still worth a watch.
