As I found Cold Mountain a much lesser English Patient, I found this only a slightly lesser Talented Mr. Ripley. Binoche and Law are fantastic, and I'm sure repeat viewings will do it many favours.
Gabriel Yared's score is the perfect accompaniment to the London architecture.
