Cillian murphy is very funny and keeps the movie colorful and whimsical looking at his dreary conflict-ridden surroundings through his eternal rose-colored glasses. the dialogue is difficult to understand to us yanks without english subtitles, which may be why I had to watch this on dvd before I could start to really love it.
