Review of Breakfast on Pluto (2005) by J L — 18 Jun 2008
For some sick reason, I am in LOVE with this movie. There's a little bit of every movie genre in this baby. Cillian Murphy's performance is AMAZING. It's absolutely one of the best acting I have seen. The movie's plot required a great actor, and cilly was perfffff for the part. The movie is about a young boy who is different from others. He grows up wanting to be a woman. There are many obstacles Patrick "Kitten" Braden must face being the way she is. The story takes place in London where Kitten is searching for her mother. *Spoiler* In the end when Kitten finally is confronted with her mother, the story becomes a sad drama when she doesn't even have the courage to tell her mother who she really is. It becomes very sad when you find out that Kittens mother has turned her life around and has a family of 2 children and another on the way. It's one of those movies you just wanna watch again and again! From my best side darlings. =) 2 thumbs ALLLL the way up! ITS JUST SO GOOD.
(thats supposed to be corny).
