I saw this at Cinema Under The Stars which helped make it a little better. It tries sooo hard to make sure you know that Holly Golightly is a care free spirit who is endearing and spontaneous isn't she adorable? No, she's selfish and mean to her cat! She doesn't deserve Paul Varjack she won't even call him by his actual name.
Holly isn't endearing she's tiresome.
