Back in the 1961 wives were supposed to have everything perfect and ready for when their husband came home. But that is not how Holly is, plus she does not live with her husband. I think that Audrey Hepburn played an amazing Holly Holightly. She really did a good job of portraying a woman who does not fallow the order of what a housewife should really be doing. The only thing that I found strange is that she kept calling Paul Varjak 'Fred' and Fred is her brother. But to me that's strange plus it could just be me. Holly is the kind of person who uses guys for money and then she doesn't want to see them again. While watching the film I noticed that Holly goes through a change and that change gives off a different feeling.

For example in the beginning she had little money and there was nothing in her house except a few things here and there with an empty book shelf. But more towards the end she finally has stuff in her house and she has books and things on her book shelf. Other things that are noticeable would be throughout the film there is always smoking, and ditching guys. But films do need to be interesting that is why they put things in that would be repeated.

I was surprised that Holly was married at one point in her life, yeah she's wild but I didn't think that she would marry an older guy. (Maybe it was for his money?) But her brother Fred was coming home from war and she wouldn't go back to meet him now that I couldn't understand. I understood why she called Paul 'Fred' because she missed her brother and wanted to see him in someone else.

This was a great film and I probably would have never taken the time to watch it but I guess you can't judge it by it's cover.
