Review of Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) by Tiago S — 24 Mar 2012
Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly is surely one of the most perfect unions of character and actor in history - her whimsical charisma is effortless and flawless at all times. The story seems to meander at times, seeming like a series of separate events mashed together into one film with no real plot to speak of.
However, it eventually becomes apparent that the entire film is about Holly and how she relates to the world, and that it would be nonsensical to attempt to restrain her capricious character within the confines of a coherent plot.
