This is a visually beautiful movie about annoying people. Holly Golightly is self-absorbed and shallow for all but the last two minutes of the movie. Paul is the determined sap that hangs around, hoping she'll one day get serious with him.
We are expected to believe, in those last two minutes, that a woman we've spent an hour and 53 minutes watching behave as an emotional and psychological train wreck of a human being, is then suddenly going to live happily ever after.
Sorry, not buying it.
