"Breakfast at Tiffany's" revolves round the life a poor, country girl who moved to the city and became an elegant, social, sweet, and charming socialite. She does not love the men she has relationship, but merely uses them for their power or wealth.
However, when a man who behaves like her moves into her apartment building, things start to change. The cast is good and Mickey Rourke provides a few chuckles. The direction combines the perfect combination of cheesiness, comedy, darkness, and tears.
"Moonriver", sung by Hepburn, is catchy and enchanting. The movie only does not further explore the dark and depressing part of this story which is unfortunate. "Breakfast at Tiffany's" is a fun treat with enough charm and layers to keep audiences interested.
