Audrey Hepburn. Man, they sure don't make stars like her anymore. Such beauty, elegance, and pure, raw talent. You could not take your eyes off her. I know Capote wanted Marilyn Monroe, and as much as I love Marilyn, I have to disagree with him.
Audrey is Holly. I went into this knowing there's mixed feelings towards Mickey Rooney's character, but to be honest, it wasn't that bad. In fact, he had me cracking up. I didn't find it offensive.
More silly than anything. And it's weird seeing a younger, romantic 'Hannibal' but George Peppard was excellent. Surprised he didn't become a big movie star after this. He reminded me of Redford throughout.
Wonderful chemistry between the two and 'Moon River'... enough said.
