An outstanding movie.
The most memorable scene for me is where Morant (Edward Woodward) and Handcock (Bryan Brown) walk to their execution. Apparently totally unscripted, Woodward holds out his hand to Brown and they walk to their position holding hands. This unscripted action apparently lines up with eyewitness accounts of the historical event!
