Review of Breaker! Breaker! (1977) by Bart & — 15 Apr 2010
Chuck Norris' first American film, his first starring role, and his first role as a good guy. It's amazing he went on to be the lead in more than 20 movies and a TV show that ran for eight years.
"Breaker! Breaker!" has all the production value of a Roger Corman movie with just enough action to make it watchable. Oddly, there is no real resolution -- the movie just sort of ends, like they ran out of money. Still, it's fun to see Norris wheeling around in a custom '70s conversion van, kicking butt in some high-heeled disco boots, and barely breaking a sweat after taking on 15 brawlers.
