Review of Breach (2007) by Justin S — 15 Oct 2009

Chris Cooper made this movie what it is. Without his phenomenal performance as Robert Hanssen, it would merely be another mediocre thriller. I wasn't a huge fan of the "fighting with my wife" plotline, either, but it turns out it was necessary later on.

I will say that final scene in the elevator should have been removed for sure. That was "deleted scene" material if I've ever seen it (which I have... I watch all the deleted scenes, always).

So that kinda put a downer on the whole experience. But I was willing to look past it and enjoy the movie for what a was- a tight, well acted thriller.
