Review of Breach (2007) by Don S — 27 Oct 2012
I expected a tense psychological thriller on a true case of treason but got nothing of the sort. This movie focused on the less interesting character of the "clerk" who set him up for capture and was therefore dull and listless.
Chris Cooper was excellent in his portrayal of the traitor. Linney's performance was strong as well, though she had only a supporting role. I've never been impressed with Philippe and this did nothing to change my mind.
Haysbert and Quinlan were wasted here. Average movie that missed the mark.
