Review of Breach (2007) by Ryan M — 20 Aug 2008
Without car chases, epic battles or anybody in a swimsuit, "Breach" takes a purely cerebral approach to the spy game. The acting is top notch all around as is the script which gives it's characters some very interesting things to say.
The problem is that aside from a few key scenes, there isn't as much suspense as there should be in a spy movie. The finale is also decisively unclimatic but I suppose that's the price you have to pay for basing anything on a true story, especially one as tied closely to reality as this.
