Vince Vaughn is just incredible in this film. This movie definitely has a grind-house feel but plenty of heart and emotion and Vaughn really gives it his all and is a genuinely believable tough guy. You feel for him every step of the way as he is forced into a life of crime, incarceration, and ruthless violence.
