Review of Brawl in Cell Block 99 (2017) by Jose G — 20 Jan 2018
My time felt wasted after seeing this. The first half of the film is slow and dull, and while the second half is more dynamic and allows Vaughn to show his character's psychotic side, this is insulted by the blunt ending and aggravating, obnoxious jazz music that follows.
Fair play to Vaughn, though- he did well in his role.
