Review of Braveheart (1995) by Aaron J — 25 May 2013
A beautiful film that lets you into the heart of famed scottish warrior William Wallace and his whole life from the beginning, Mel Gibson should really be proud of himself, making such a beautiful film like this with such sweeping Cinematography by John Toll, and a truly beautiful score by James Horner, This film is really a definition of an epic, a classic or whatever big title you can give it, This film Truly deserved Best Picture, and Best Director, I think that it should have really won every award that it was nominated for.
I think that the Academy should have acknowledged Mel Gibson's performance and gave him a Best Actor nomination. This film is very heartbreaking as well, the ending always brings tears to my eyes.
This film deserves **** out of **** Stars.
