Review of Braveheart (1995) by Brett H — 05 Nov 2013
Finally got around to seeing this epic war drama and I have been missing out on a fantastic, testosterone-filled adventure! Mel Gibson is just awesome as William Wallace and you are with his character hoping he'll succeed throughout.
The action sequences are bloody, intense, and realistic to the point where you begin to wonder if real horses are dying! The lengthy 3-hour runtime flies by because you're so invested with the characters and everything about it is superb! It may not be historically accurate, but god damn it's epic and Mel Gibson should be proud of his accomplishment.
