Review of Brave Story (2006) by Heulwen P — 11 Jun 2007

It's a nice little story about loyalty, friendship, and what people will do for others and for themselves. And it has a big cuddly water-dragon thing called Kee Keema in it. Just for that, it's cool.

If you like the earlier Ghibli stuff, it's a good choice. Some of the effects are a little odd, however, especially when they try and blend conventional animation and CG and it doesn't quite come off.
