Review of Brassed Off (1996) by Stephanie G — 21 Jan 2008
On the same level as the full Monty, dealing with a group of people facing unemployment through governmental and social change. This group make a stand, through keeping the mine's Brass Band playing to keep moral up.
Yet the music can only do so much in such a grim situation. Brilliant acting from all concerned.
