Review of Brass Target (1978) by Trent M — 25 Apr 2008
So Patton tries to find out who stole gold from a train during WW2. And sometime gov't official Max von Sydow is hired to kill the General. Sophia Loren is there for no reason other than to link the assassin to the guy trying to stop him in a weird love triangle.
And Robert Vaughn plays a gay officer for some reason. The train heist opening was quite well done, but after that, it was really to boring to want to watch, even with George Kennedy going over George C.
Scott's top as patton spouting things like wanting to cram every brick of that gold "up their Red Commie asses!!!".
