Some good ideas, some great effects, but ultimately a slow but mildly interesting viewing experience. The acting is fine but the plot is somewhat nonsensical. The main character at a couple of points credits Lenin with the invention of marketing, however his explanation as to why seems premised on a definition of marketing that's quite contestable.
I wonder if the film's not politically ambiguous by design so left and right can "read into it"; if so it's a failed attempt.
