I thought this was a cleverly done movie with strong undertones and light heartedness. How great it was to hear Jessica Mauboy and Missy Higgins sing in it. The lines of "I'd rather be an Aborigine and watch you take my land from me" are ones that will stick with me forever.
Such an interesting culture and stereotyped by alchohol and unemployment even back then in the 60's. Ernie Dingo has a surprisingly good singing voice too. I enjoyed this movie but went in to it, not knowing much about it at all!
