A prescient bit of Sci Fi with a number of details that are easily overlooked, like the tour of product R & D as a gadget moves from lab to finished good with associated marketing spin and packaging.
The movie may have featured some of its own tech firsts; there is a rumor that voice print software was used to complete segments of missing dialog.
