Social Media and our compulsion to self compare leading to angst and depression.

Stiller seems to have this role, replayed, self conflicted , middle age man, coming to terms w his own existential crisis, has he been enough? This self doubt seems to be compelled by our society with easy, comparisons, nowadays. Simply as say, a Facebook posting of one man Hawaii trip could spurn depression and angst, in another person, why can't I be like him or her? What is wrong w me? And so, at the heart of this movie, seems to be our mind's ability, to overthink, to self doubt, to the point, we fall into the loop, of thinking am I enough? Of course what we see as others usually is only the 1%, as the other 99% is not visible. And then it takes a young girl and son, grounded, in what is enough, to awaken Brad.
